Why?
On Tuesday there will be a negotiations session where observers are not allowed. In the last session, a 0% salary increase was offered in reply to our 15% ask. As Pete Knutson reminded us, with inflation that amounts to a pay cut when so many of us are struggling to make ends meet.
Since we can’t be a part of the negotiations, let’s find other ways to be heard! Let’s gather on campus to distribute information to our community about how we are being treated and to speak our needs.
We need people to show up to the rally during the negotiation time, bring your students if you are teaching class, and make signs. Let’s organized to get what we need. This is a crucial action to attend.
