Now that we’ve reached a tentative deal with the District about our wage re-opener, it’s time to start thinking ahead to our next contract and the working conditions we as faculty need so we can create the learning conditions students deserve. To help our union prepare to bargain a strong contract, it’s important that we as faculty understand the District’s decision-making around our budget and that we continue advocating for budget transparency for our colleges.
