Rindge Faculty Federation Statement in Opposition to All Forms of Racism and Bigotry

The membership of the Rindge Faculty Federation (AFT #2433) approved the following statement today for release to the Franklin Pierce University community and to the public:
Citizens across the city, unhappy with the new Baltimore transportation program, the BaltimoreLink, joined with our AFL-CIO sisters and brothers the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) for a protest against Governor Hogan’s transportation plans for the city of Baltimore.
ust 28, Gubernatorial Candidate Phil Murphy, Assemblywoman Sheila Y. Oliver, and AFT President Randi Weingarten came to the Newark Teachers Union to meet with NJ teachers to discuss their concerns.
