On Thursday November 9, 2023 our faculty union, along with our staff sibling unions, filed grievances against the Seattle Colleges District for chronic payroll issues that have resulted in lost and inaccurate wages for our members. Read a redacted version of our grievance here:
Among other things, our union demands:
- An external audit by a third party of all staff and faculty payroll records
- The immediate repayment of lost wages
- Negotiating the amount that faculty who have been overpaid owe back to the District to zero dollars, in accordance with RCW 49.48.200.
